Awesome board games for sale in New York City

Where can I find board games for sale in New York City that, in addition to being tons of fun, could be considered vintage, collectible, obscure, quirky, what have you.
I'm not looking for cool designs of well known games, i.e. checkers, chess, Monopoly, etc. Any ideas for places that might have a solid collection for me to peruse to find a gift for a board game loving friend?

There was such a place, called Fun Antiques, under the 59th Street bridge. It was done in by Ebay.

Forbidden Planet on 13th and Broadway may have some interesting games. Probably not vintage, but likely some off the beaten path.

Seconding CS. It's got by far the best selection of good stuff in town.

When I was at FAO Schwarz a few years ago they had a pretty good selection of Front Porch Classics games. Hmm, apparently Front Porch Classics has been swallowed up by University Games. No idea if that may have affected build quality and/or distribution.

You can search the boardgamegeek.com user database and see if your friend has a wishlist. Complete Strategist is definitely the best source locally, and they do special orders as well.
