Emailing Yahoo Groups Archives

I've recently joined a couple of Yahoo! Groups, and I would like to have all the old messages (prior to my joining) sent to me via email. Is that possible? I want to store all the messages in my gmail account so that I can search through them in the future.

I've been a moderator since Groups were Clubs, so I thought I'd poke around and see if there were any options for this. It doesn't look like it, which is a shame. It would be great to be able to archive all messages as a backup.

If anyone has a hack for this, I'd love to hear it as well.

Upon looking around more, I found this offline group downloader. I tried it quickly and got an error, but it's worth a shot.

You may want to check out the answers when I asked a similiar question a while ago.

I'd love to see a point and click solution though to this problem. Yahoo is intentionally making this difficult and it is irratating a hell.
