Problem with Chinese IME in XP
May 10, 2005 11:20 PM   RSS feed for this thread Subscribe

I am trying to add Chinese to the Language Bar in Windows XP Professional. I have in the past successfully added Japanese with no problem, but when I try to add the Chinese IME, I get this message: "Windows could not properly load the Chinese (PRC) - Chinese (Simplified) - Microsoft Pinyin IME 3.0 keyboard layout." How can I fix this?

Nothing helpful to say, but it's not just you--same problem with me, and Japanese worked fine.

Worked fine for me, but I did it long ago, so I don't remember what problems I ran into.

Perhaps these instructions might help?
