Are you part of a CSA? If yes, will you please answer some questions for me?

Please only answer what you want to.

1. What do you get (veggies, fruit, flowers, nuts, fungus, eggs, milk, meat)? Are there any processed foods? (Cheese, yogurt, butter, bread, bacon, canned goods)? Would you get farm processed foods if they were offered? Are there any obviously non-local foods included?

2. Year round or seasonal?

3. If you don't mind sharing, please tell me where you live and how much you pay. (Location = climate and cost of living.)

4. Do you get it delivered or pick it up?

5. Does the farm offer any other services (workshops/classes)? Do you/would you participate?

6. Does the farm allow you to barter (labor or services), or have a volunteer requirement? Do you/would you participate in such a swap?

7. Do you think the food is better quality than, say, Whole Foods? Or the same? (I really hope it isn't worse!)

8. How local is the farmer to you?

9. What percentage of your diet/grocery budget does the CSA provide?

10. This one is a two parter: Would you subscribe again next year? And do you feel this is a practical value for you? For example, if you would not subscribe next year, is it because you don't cook very often? Or is it because you have no idea what to do with rhubarb, kale, and parsnips?
