Seeking musicians and music industry people to interview while visiting Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY
I am doing research on how musicians communicate with each other and engage in their art.
I'm looking to meet and interview working musicians, from serious amateur to pro. I'm interested in how they communicate with other musicians, what the NYC music scene is like, challenges, finding and teaching students, and more.
I'm also interested in talking with other industry folks from record labels, music stores, etc.
I'm looking for referrals to appropriate individuals. While this is business research, I'm not selling anything, but rather, gathering information.
