Pantech jest unsupported directory?

I wanted to download pictures from my Pantech Jest phone. I was using a Scandisk adapter, placed in my camera, then tried to download to my computer. They don't show up. When I place the Micro Scandisk back into the card, I get an error message that says "files are found in unsupported directory please move them to the proper directory". How do I do this? And can I do this from the phone?

First, a warning: I don't know anything about the Jest phone.

So if I understand correctly, you've got a microSD card or something like that (Sandisk, right?) in your phone, which probably* has photos on it, and an actual camera that uses the same kind of memory card but in a bigger format (plain old SD, I bet), and you're trying to use the camera as the card reader to transfer the phone photos to your PC?

My advice: Don't use the camera as a card reader. It's really only meant to transfer its own photos, so it might (1) not let you at other devices' photos on the same card and (2) write something to the card while it's in there that upsets the phone when the card's put back in.

Card readers are cheap. Get one of those instead of trying to use the camera as a card reader.

* You're sure the phone writes its photos to the microSD card, and not to internal memory, right?

Oh, and for the "unsupported directory" thing -- if you can't find out exactly what your camera wrote to the card that is confusing the phone, just get your card reader, copy everything off the card, and erase it, then let the phone start from scratch on it.
