What, if any, is the connection between Desi Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Hines II?
One of my favorite movies is Boyz N The Hood. The main character is played as a youth by Desi Arnaz Hines II, an actor who has gone on to do...not much, although he is still acting according to IMDB.
That name has always intrigued me, and I assume there's a link to the Desi Arnaz of Desi-Lucy fame, yet my internet-fu (even doing a keyword search of "Hines" in Desi Arnaz's autobiography, which returned no hits) has failed to pick up any corroboration.
Maybe the parents of Desi Arnaz Hines I were just really big fans? Does anyone here know anything?

He is not Desi Arnez Hines II: Electric Babalu. There is no direct relation.

I noticed that too, and assumed it was along the same lines as Martin Luther King or George Washington Carver - taking the full name of an admired figure and giving it as the first and middle to a child. Granted, Desi Arnaz does seem a somewhat unusual choice, but ...
