Help me see this show!

I didn't find out about this awesome show until it was already sold out.

I keep checking at Live Nation, but so far, no luck. I only need one ticket. Does anyone know a reputable online ticket broker for sold out events? It may be asking too much, but it would be fabulous if it didn't cost the earth...

Response by poster: PS. I know Saturday still has tickets, but a whole crowd of friends are going on Friday.

Best answer: Stubhub is reputable and has plenty.

If all else fails, just show up at the venue early. Fans usually have someone they are going with bail on them at the last minute and may unload a ticket to another fan. Check the box office, sometimes they release a batch of extra tickets before show that is unannounced.

We've used Stubhub several times and they are reputable. The first time, it seemed too good to be true, but we gave it a try and we've used them several times since. We have also used Craigslist, and the only caveat is that I think you need to meet the seller in person to exchange money and get the tickets. We usually ask to meet them at their place of employment, which works for us on several levels. We've never been burned, but we've had a few nervous moments with Craigslist tickets, especially the ones printed on a home computer.
