Where to sell lots of SATA cables and stuff?

We get extra cables and parts about every day, which just fill up boxes. Too many to count, enough to weigh.
Rather than set up a store and sell everything individually, would like to find a bulk purchaser, and am having no luck with the google. Lots of resellers though.
In addition to SATA, there's IDE cables, chassis handles, and lots of expansion slot covers (my first inclination is scrap metal, but turns out they sell for about a buck apiece).
Do I start cold-calling sites that sell these things, or do you know of a better way?
Please hope me; thanks hive!

Sell as large lots on ebay, specifying buyer has to pick up in person?

Last place I worked we found a local charity that trained people on IT stuff by rehabbing old PCs. They came and picked up the stuff - cords, old PC hardware, printers. etc for their work. We got a write off and certainty it wasn't just going to a landfill or whatever. Win/Win.

Maybe WeirdStuff in Sunnyvale would buy them?

There's no way that those are worth a buck a piece sold used.

Honestly, eBay's probably your best bet, although this stuff really isn't worth a whole lot on the secondhand market. You'll spend more time in labor costs divvying up, pricing, listing, and shipping the items than they're worth.

Remember that episode of Seinfeld where they gather up a truckload of glass bottles, and drive to Indiana to collect the bottle deposit on them, but can't deviate from their route or stop to eat or pee, because their profit margin on the scheme ended up being so thin once all the expenses were added up (even though it appeared like free money at first glance)?

It's like that.

Do they have value? Yes. Is their value far outstripped by the cost of the actual process of selling the item? Very yes.

Response by poster: schmod, others - I guess I forgot to mention that none of these parts are used. I was hoping maybe there was some way I could sell them back or something.

Best answer: All Electronics has been buying and selling "pre-owned" electronic and electro-mechanical parts and supplies for decades. They will buy surplus electronic parts from companies with excess inventory.
