Is there a website showing tax payments by public companies?

Has anyone put together a website showing the following info for publicly traded companies...

Total profit / loss
US profit / loss
US Federal tax payments
US Federal tax effective rate on US profit
US Federal tax effective rate on total profit
US State / local tax payments
US State / local tax effective rate on US profit
US State / local tax effective rate on total profit
International profit / loss
International tax payments
International tax effective rate on international profit
International tax effective rate on total profit

Preferably in a sortable table with history, e.g.

Year | Company | US P/L | US Fed tax paid | Fed tax rate on US profit | ....

If so, where can I find it or something roughly equivalent? Google has not been much help.

Bonus points if there are separate sections isolating companies that are in the S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, NASDAQ composite, etc.

It is in the regulatory filings of companies listed on US Exchanges. These are accessible at Edgar.sec.gov. You will want to look at the annual report for these companies.

Response by poster: That's the obvious answer, but wading through 500 reports is much less efficient than finding it in the form specified in the question.

Response by poster: That reply came off as kind of dickish, apologies. I am really looking for a site that already has this info summarized. Company filings are the only authoritative source for the info, but the...

number of publicly traded companies * 10 years of history

...is a very large number of reports to read. I am hoping a watchdog group, think tank, or group of academics somewhere has already compiled this information.

Best answer: I don't know of any such service but you need to keep in mind that there are taxes other than those on profits. And companies that operate at a loss don't pay income taxes because, well, they have no profits to be taxed.

Best answer: Found this API for parsing Edgar data. Doesn't quite do what you want but maybe you could contact the developer to see if they can help you.
