When starting Firefox 1.0.3, I get "access to the port number given has been disabled for security reasons." When I click OK, Firefox opens but with a blank tab. I can then surf as normal.

This didn't happen until I updated to version 1.0.3. today. I'm not trying to access any particular port, I'm not doing anything fancy. Firefox support says I can add ports to user.js, but as I don't know what port is being blocked that's not very helpful.

Actually, I just fixed it. Turns out version 1.0.3 doesn't like the prefetching technique discussed here. I removed "Prefetch:1" from the executable line in the Properties window and that did the trick.

Can I mark my own answer as the best?
