What's the best way to find a translated English version of a Japanese newsweekly article from 1994?

Specifically I'm trying to find an English version of a story covered in the Asahi Weekly. I have the Japanese version, but am trying to figure out if it's possible to get the English one from some database without paying for professional translation services.

I happen to have asahi open in another window; you already found these? Search here and here (but they didn't exist online then, so chances are slim). If you know some Japanese, the Rikai.com site is a great page translation tool, and Jeffrey Friedl's online dictionary is very useful.

Response by poster: Hey, thanks.

If only I could OCR these articles into computer-Japanese form...
