Converting old French francs in Paris

Read that you can still change old French francs to euros - until 2/1012. My local bank can't do it but I will be in Paris in the future. What bank there would be the best place to do it and is a complicated process? Do I need any documentation other than the actual bank notes? Thanks for the help.

Do you speak French? You can find the details here: http://www.banque-france.fr/fr/publications/telechar/bulletin/etu175_7.pdf The bottom of page 72 tells you what can still be exchanged. You need to do it at the Banque de France.

The French page of the Banque de France has a list of the places where you can change Francs (PDF). I change mine at the Paris branch of the BdF some years ago and the process was fast and simple.
