Need a moving company and less stress

Moving a short distance on the east side of the Sound (Seattle area). Any recommendations for a moving company?

We are moving a short distance (less than ten minutes away) and need to be out by the end of this month so it is short notice. We thought we could do it ourselves with a uhaul but at this point we aren't even packed (we are maybe 75% there). We need help at this point!!! We are desperate.

We used Budget Moving last year, based on recommendations. We were charged $100/hr for two workers and a truck. I would use them again.

if you have friends available, pizza + beer for as many that can load and unload is cheaper than $100/hr. if you've got a local group of six able-bodied folks that can pack/load/unload you should be able to have this done in a day. otherwise, listen to Blazcock Pileon!

I used Adam's Moving Service and they were just terrific.

Jordan River Moving. I used them when I moved last September and I was extremely happy with them.

Response by poster: Budget was the first and only to respond and they are on their way this afternoon to move us! Thanks for the recommendations.

We had good luck with Adam's Moving Service as well. We did lose one paper bag's worth of stuff, but we don't know if that was us or them -- it did look kinda like trash.
