Help me with mortgage tools

Are there any good tools for visualizing mortgage options?

My mortgage renewal time is coming up. Canadian rates are at all time low and I want to play around with the variables. My options are a variable mortgage which is tied to Bank of Canada's prime rate or a fixed rate mortgage. I want to plot 3-5 potential mortgages and see what I am comfortable with.

Are there any tools like that? I've attempted to use bank's basic mortgage calculator but it's less than intuitive..

I found the Excel spreadsheet in this random internet thread to be a pretty good starting place for my comparisons. A little copy-and-paste magic was all it took to arrange the data a few different ways so I could compare each mortgage on different criteria.

I often use Karl's Mortgage Calculator, though it may not be best for all types of mortgages.
