Finding breadfruit in Oregon

Does anyone know where I could find breadfruit to buy between Salem and Portland, Oregon?

I've wanted to try it for a long time and thought I'd get off of my butt and start seriously trying to find some.

Best answer: In SE Portland, try Fubonn. Not exactly between Portland and Salem, but you could also check Uwajimaya in Beaverton.

Best answer: Most of Fubonn's produce (and stock in general) seems to come from China, some possibly from Vietnam also. Depending on how you feel about Chinese exports you may want to go with Uwajimaya, instead, where I think the produce mostly comes from within the US.

Response by poster: Considering that I just read about fake rice coming from China, I think Uwajimaya's a winner! Plus there's a Benihana in Beaverton.

Thanks, peeps.

Make sure to check labels, stickers, etc! I shopped for years at the Seattle Uwajimaya and saw quite a few Chinese exports in the produce section. Fewer in recent times, but there are still some.
