What is really going on with Pepcid Complete and similar antacid/H2 inhibitor combos? recall was about packaging a long time ago but shelves are still empty and no explanation from "marketing"

Semi-related, I've found that taking a "popular brand" smooth-texture formulation extra strength antacid (hate me a gritty tablet), plus a generic famitodine, works just fine and is much, much cheaper.
