Can anyone identify this song for a friend of mine? Thanks in advance.

Gah, the voice is really familiar to me, and makes me think of some song from the 80's, but I can't remember the singer. Am still searching. Have you contacted the radio station?

Also, you're not alone in trying to place it, although that may be a blog post by your friend.

Ah! It was Robbie Robertson that it reminded me of, but I don't think that's him.

I think its Michael Hutchence's solo album but I can't find any lyrics.

It does sound like Hutchence. The male background vocals sound a lot like Bryan Adams. Tried a search for both, but came up empty. I'll keep looking.

Great song, BTW. Would love to download it for my iTouch.

It sounds like Shawn Mullins to me, but no luck on lyric search.

I think it sounds like Shawn Mullins too.

Vincent Stone, from his self-titled album released in 1994. I've got a copy of the album around here somewhere, for some awful reason. It is not a good album. Mefimail me if you want a better quality copy and I'll try to dig it up.
