Does anyone know of a software development tool vendor that provides free training (not online, but in person) , please share ? It doesnt matter what kind of software development tool vendor it is. Any will do.

It might be helpful if you explained a bit more what you were after. Vendors who sell really expensive software development tools almost certainly include a certain amount of free in-person training (typically, an instructor who will teach a certain number of hours to a certain number of students, I believe). Vendors who sell inexpensive software clearly can't afford to offer any free in-person training.

Are you trying to find out vendor names (who you might call), or examples to show your boss, or to figure out what your company should offer to be competitive, or ... ?

I believe Endnote offers training to groups of 25 or more users.
