Percentage split between e-commerce shop and supplier

I'm partnering with a small print shop to sell prints of vintage transit maps. They will handle on-demand printing & shipping and I will handle creation of the store, transactions, and customer service. Is there a 'typical' % split between the supplier and the store? Very new to this side of the business and not sure what to propose to them.

Response by poster: I should clarify this is of course an online shop. I'm a front-end web developer so the store development will be rather easy. I would be responsible for monthly fees for hosting and merchant account stuff.

I wouldn't offer a percentage split. They have their typical price for printing and shipping which should already give them a profit margin beyond all expenses. Give them that price and if you want to make them extra happy then also offer an extra few percent per purchase.

With the exception of electronics, commodities, and food, most retail is marked up 100% from cost. Or, a 50/50 'split'
