I Do Not "Like" This, Spam I Am

Facebook fiasco filter! I foolishly clicked on a link someone posted on my Facebook wall that said: "YOU will NEVER TEXT again after seeing THIS insane video!! on CLICK HERE TO SEE." Now it shows as a Wall Post from my account stating that I "like" it. How to remove?

When the link took me to YouTube I didn't click anything else - not the "play" button nor any permissions buttons. I simply click the back button on my browser. I got a box that asked "Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?" and when I clicked "Cancel" the page remained on that YouTube page. So I hit "back" again and clicked "OK" to navigate away from the page. Now that stooopid video is showing on my Wall as if I posted it, along with an "I Like" affirmation. I've tried Googling this problem, and the suggested "remove the application" advice didn't work, as this didn't show up on my list of apps. I "unliked" it via the "Edit My Profile" thingy, and it was gone for a while. I just checked back and that blasted post is back on my Facebook Wall, and when I try to "unlike" it again, it's not listed among my "liked" items. Hovering over the post itself does not produce the usual "X" with which to delete Wall posts. Any advice on how to permanently remove this post, and did I accidentally install some sort of app despite never clicking on anything other than the "OK to navigate away from this page" box?

Basic click-jacking as described here.

To remove: "Basically, go to your profile's Likes and Interests, edit the section, click "Show other pages" and remove the malicious ones."

You can remove the post from your wall by going to your profile and then hovering over the post. A blue X should appear in the top right corner of that particular post. Click the X and it will remove the post.

As I mentioned in my question, I've already done this. It removed the post temporarily. The post is now back on my Wall, showing as a "Like," and when I go back to my Likes and Interests "Show Other Pages" it isn't listed there.

You can remove the post from your wall by going to your profile and then hovering over the post. A blue X should appear in the top right corner of that particular post. Click the X and it will remove the post.
Again, as I mentioned in my OP, hovering over the post does not produce the usual removal X.

It is possible that it is cached in the Facebook servers (and no "X" since FB knows you already clicked it). I have seen some posts persist briefly after they were deleted. Have you reloaded the page recently to see if it goes away?

One thing is that what you 'like' isn't what is listed in your likes. The post may say you like "Bill's Horse Relaxer Cream" but the FB page listings will say you like "Grandma's Birthday" or "Funny Cats" or something unrelated.

Also, looks like there's a newer version of that thing floating around that uses two different names. If you have that one, try this:"Account > Privacy Settings > Applications and Websites and edit the “Applications you use,” with the action remove the rogue apps namely “barbrastrisand” & “ehhho.”

To nuke it from orbit, you could disable all facebook platform apps from the privacy page.

Response by poster: I've logged out of Facebook and logged back in and the post is still there. There was no X available from the very first seconds that post showed up on my Wall. That's when I Googled to find out how to remove it and found the "Unlike" it advice. But the hover-over-for-an-X-delete-option was never present.

Best answer: I did this recently with a similar spammy thing. I couldn't find a way to unlike it, but I noticed that when I'd click on the comments for this spammy thing, all the comments were along the lines of "Stupid spam, blah blah!"

So everytime I saw it I clicked "Report spam" and within a week Facebook got rid of it.
