Where Can I Find Lists of Professional and Civic Groups in Los Angeles?

I am looking to speak with groups in order to promote my services and yoga studio. Business, civic groups, etc. Where can I find a list of these in the area. What other organizations can/should I speak with?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I can give you some general advice. When I am trying to find a list of something online, I try to think of a few things that would be on that list and do a Web search for them. This usually leads me to a page with the list I seek.

For example, if I wanted a list of cars, I would search for "Acura, Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge" and see what turns up. In your case, you might search for "los angeles rotary lions kiwanis".

Best answer: Many public libraries subscribe to a Gale database called Associations Unlimited. You might be able to access it through your library's web site. I just did a quick search on Los Angeles associations and got 570 hits.
