What are the best last minute Christmas gifts?

We've all been there. You thought you got everybody on your list a gift, but you missed that long lost Uncle. Alas, what do you do when shipping isn't an option? When even Amazon prime can't fill that hole?

List some of your favorite last-minute Christmas gifts that can be found most anywhere. Bonus points for creativity.

This post was deleted for the following reason: There's a lot of existing gift threads from this year and previous years, and without some kind of direction or specificity this is chatfilter. -- cortex

. . . I go to a store?

This is a pretty broad question.

Yeah, this is way too vague a question. Last minute for who? Man? Woman? Child? And even that is still much too vague.

This was on yesterday's New York Times. Depending on who your gifting, a charity donation on their name is a great thing.

Head to Amazon and buy the item asap.

When you talk to them, ask if they have received their gift. They'll tell you no. Explain that you ordered them something and is surprised that it hasn't arrived yet. Then say that you hope it gets there soon and that you're sorry it's been delayed.

If it's something you really want to give them in-hand.. Then my suggestion is a $30 eletric heated throw from Walmart.

Most stores around me also sell prepackaged gift baskets of all sorts of stuff.

I usually give my long lost uncle a set of steel rods of varying lengths and gauges; you should see him light up when he spots that long, heavy parcel under the tree. Best last minute Christmas gift idea ever.
