Song ID Filter. Link to 9 indie rock song clips from the 90's possibly Canadian.

I already tried to search lyrics, no luck. Tried other tune ID services. Will be grateful if you can id any of these.

Clip 6 is The Grays from the album Ro Sham Bo, 1994. I can't remember the name of the song, sorry.

Third one is driving me nuts. I think it's Toronto's The Lawn. Certainly sounds like Gord Cumming on slide.

I'm friends with Gord and he says that's not him.

Wow. No idea. But may I suggest CBC Radio 3's comment board as the single densest concentration of Canadian indie music fans on the planet?

Response by poster: Ok that's #4 & #6 done. (Sons of Freedom was available on emusic so I just downloaded it)
That's a good idea about the CBC forum, I'll try it

Do you have the whole of #3? If you can send it to me, maybe I can match it up by running time in iTunes. I may no longer have it but I definitely did at one point.

Response by poster: dobbs , I uploaded the whole song but it was taped off the radio so time will not be exact.
This is definitely the lawn as the DJ announces this at the end, however I was mislead because there was a dutch band with same name. (don't know why Gord from the band would not recognize the song?)
so we just need the track name.

Note my ultimate goal is to purchase all these tracks if possible.

Sorry to mislead you. The track is The Lawn. Gord is just saying it's not him on slide.

Oh, and The Lawn recently did a reunion show but their music is crazy hard to find.

Funny that that DJ mentions 13 Engines as well. I thought one of the other tunes was one of theirs but the voice was wrong. Gord agreed and said there were "no engines in those 9".

Response by poster: Thanks for the clarification. By the way does Gord know the track name?
