Digital video camera advice

I am looking to buy my first digital video camera and would like some recommendations. Preferably something I could use around the office to edit semi-professional looking internal company videos. Hard drive? Flash drive? Budget is $600 or less. THANKS!

Response by poster: Sorry should have added some things that are important: good low light performance, long battery life, audio inputs.

I would go with the Canon HF-M31, on sale now at B&H. It uses the same sensor as their top of the line HF-S21 model from 2009, which I use all the time. $499.
