Waterproof enclosed notebooks?

A relative mentioned in passing an old notebook he used to have with metal covers, about 5" x 8" in size, and with a place to keep a writing utensil inside. Also, the metal covers covered the sides fairly well so it was somewhat water-resistant.

This person's birthday is approaching and I would like to get him another such notebook if only I could find it, which I can't. The closest I've come is Rite in the Rain, but their approach seems to be more about waterproofing the paper than sealing the enclosure. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Many thanks!

Here's a page that has a few that are closer to the size you're looking for.
