BlackBerry 9300 wants to be friends with iMac...

Can a Blackberry and a G5 play nice?

Good day, geeks of MeFi!
Could someone help a completely computer illiterate girl with an iMac running 10.4.11 (YES, I KNOW...) to persuade it to play nice with a shiny new BlackBerry 9300?
What are my options here? Downloading something? If that's the case, I'd like to avoid "going to the darkside" if at all possible.

The goal is to transfer the phone book, some music (from iTunes), pictures and videos that are all stored on the Old Battle Wagon that is my iMac to the new BB.

Any and all help / sincere suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

...also that mini disk that came with the new phone should NOT be attempted, right?

From that link: 2PocketMac for BlackBerry supports MacOS 10.4 or higher (including Intel Duo Technology). It’s available to BlackBerry smartphone owners as a free download.

Thank you, Bardophile - The BlackBerry link was the first thing I tried - the message returned says "This software does not support your current operating system". Are there are bigger problems?

Well, then there appears to be something called The Missing Sync although a review suggests that won't work with anything prior to 10.5 (the software specs say otherwise).

Perhaps try for an older version of PocketMac?

What are you fearing with the minidisk? Were you thinking of formatting it or something?
