Tis the season to be overstuffed.

We're coming up on the holiday season, and I want your best recipes for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Anything goes. Family traditions or new favorites, simple or ridiculously in-depth, main dish, side dish or dessert, as long as it makes you think of the holidays.

In my family we have the following traditions:

My mom is the world's best pie baker, so there's always pecan, pumpkin, and lemon meringue pies.

We always have deep-fried turkey and stuffing with water chestnuts (ew) in it at Thanksgiving, and a Honeybaked ham at Christmas.

One of my holiday favorites is strawberry pretzel salad.

I like making pear bread.

I always give salted caramels to my family.

I usually bring spiced nuts to dinner.

(Bonus points for a great gingerbread cookie recipe!)

(Extra bonus points for things that will help me use up the three cups of blue cheese in my freezer.)

This post was deleted for the following reason: Recipes are great but there's been a LOT of recipe threads in the past, "anything goes" doesn't really give folks a direction to go with this, and several "I'll go first" examples is really marching this straight into chatfilter territory. -- cortex

I made this root vegetable casserole last year and it was delicious.

Ooooh, I love what we actually just call 'Pretzel Jello'. Isn't it amazing?

... I make white castle stuffing and it's delicious.
