Where is the quote "You know who you are. Hang on to that" from?

I feel like it's probably some indie coming-of-age film from the 90s. Google yields no results.

That sounds like what Bogie told Bacall in real life, not in a film.

It's probably not what you're thinking of, but some version of that line was used in the Miyazaki animated film Spirited Away.
