Last minute saxophone?

Where can I purchase, rent, or borrow a saxophone- real, toy, or otherwise- in Chicago tomorrow?
Have my Epic Sax guy costume good to go- except the saxophone. Have tried Toys'r'us, Target, and several costume shops with no luck. Amazon costs like a billion dollars to overnight at this point. I realize this is a long shot, but google has not been helpful- hoping there is a music shop/toy store employee out there that can save my ass. Thanks!

Pawn shops invariably have musical instruments. And I've definitely seen cheap, student-quality horns in the $100 range.
You can probably sell it to a different pawn shop the next day and recoup some of your money.

I totally saw that as "sax toy" instead of "toy sax."

Best answer: They might have them at the toy shop in Andersonville - Toys Et Cetera. They have a lot of cool toy instruments, so they would be the place to try.

My high school had a bunch of beat up musical instruments in the music lockers behind of the band room. Some of them were entirely worthless for playing, but still looked decent (a few dents maybe). You might want to call a few area high schools and see if they have any broken saxophones they'd want to part with for cheap.

Also, for authenticity sake (and because they are a lot lighter) you want an alto saxophone, not a tenor or bari (if you choose to go the real saxophone route instead of toy saxophone).

Best answer: From Ms. Vegetable: There's a toy (maybe toy? maybe just kids?) musical store just east of the Brown line stop on Armitage. South side of the street, before you hit Lush.
