How to send physical mail anonymously?

Is it possible to send physical mail anonymously through private parties, who will then resend it?

Assuming one wants to send mail without its origin being easily traced by the local country's mail authorities, are there private services which can repost mail anonymously?

For example, a letter sent to Canada from the United States is opened in Canada by the third party, and resent from Canada by that third party on to a subsequent, perhaps final destination.

Private shipping companies or similar couriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) that require documenting the transaction process between sender and recipient might apply, assuming that an intermediate recipient can then re-anonymize the source of the original package.

Assume that any confirmation that the final recipient received the package is not necessary, and that information about the subsequent destination is available, for example, printed on an envelope nested inside another envelope.

If it's a one-off thing and you're not harassing anyone, I'd be happy to resend for you from my non-US country.
