Help me find the BEST pajamas!

I am nearly 37 weeks pregnant, stuck on the couch because of annoyingly effective contractions, and I need more pajamas. BUT: I am picky. I'm going to be spending a lot of time in them after the baby's here, so I'm willing to invest in some good ones. Here are my picky requirements:

1. Must be 100% cotton. Not even the softest squidgiest polyester microfleece; I get hot flashes and night sweats when I'm nursing.
2. Must be knit. Woven pajamas bind in weird ways on my body.
3. Must be PJs, not a nightgown. Nightgowns end up in my armpits.
4. Must be available in plus sizes. I've lost nearly forty pounds in this pregnancy, and will probably end up about 20% of my body weight down after I give birth, but I'll still have Giant Nursing Boobs to contend with, and I was pretty big when I started.
5. Must be thick and snuggly. My bedroom gets cold.

So, AskMe! Help a girl out?

"Woven pajamas" includes flannels, right?

Knit = Jersey to me (t-shirt material). There seem to be a lot of options, from $20-100, is there something more specific you're looking for? The ones at the link don't seem to violate any of your requirements.

Thick 'n snuggly = sweats

Post-baby, I pretty much lived in a rotating collection of $10 pajama pants from Old Navy (like this). I swear they're the most comfortable thing in the world, but they're either poplin or flannel cotton, so maybe not for you. These knit ones are also pretty comfy. I paired the pants with supportive nursing tanks, which were the only things my Giant Nursing Boobs could stand for the first few weeks at least (these especially), and then a soft jersey robe when it was chilly.

I found that PJ tops didn't have enough support for my ginormous nursing boobs (when not nursing I'm a GG so, uh, need a bra/bra top). I love the old navy yoga pants- they come in plus sizes, maternity and plus size maternity. For tops I highly recommend a great comfy nursing bra and a mamajamas top.

Congrats on the new baby!!!

I picked up a couple of Lands' End long-sleeved shirts on clearance, and they turned out to be way too big for wearing outside, but as loungewear/sleepwear, they've been downright awesome: 100% cotton, super soft, and wonderfully snuggly. I think these are the ones I got, but there are tons of similar options, including a line of sleepwear, and they come in plus sizes.

I like Jockey jammy sets - they are cotton knits, come in pretty colors and last well. There is an outlet close to me but I think department stores carry them too (or online???).

Response by poster: ocherdraco, it sadly does include flannels. Flannels always seem like such a great idea until I try to sleep in them.

PorcineWithMe, I'm in a nursing bra 24x7 while I'm nursing, so fortunately the PJs don't have to do a lot of work. I have the hookup for Giant Size super-supportive no-underwire nursing bras (Decent Exposures FTW).

RoyalSong, those look GREAT, thank you.

I CANNOT say enough about pjs from Alfani. You can get them at macys (maybe it's even a macys brand? I'm not sure?). I lived in them when I was pregnant/post pregnancy. Still love them. Not seeing any online, but they had them in the store last week.

Have you tried satin pajamas? I had the same requirements as you and my hubby surprised me with a pair. They were very comfortable, and surprisingly warm in cold months and cool in warm months. I wore them through all three of my pregnancies, two of which I was on bed rest.

Response by poster: TooFewShoes, I haven't -- but I have a profound sensitivity to artificial fibers under the best of circumstances, and when I'm sweating like a mofo, it's really the last thing I want.

Have you tried getting out of the pajama dept entirely? I like a good, soft cotton top (usually from a clearance rack, so I have stuff in less-than-ideal colours) with a wide, low neckline (I'm nursing), with men's boxer briefs, or "lounge pants."
