Where can I find a full-fledged Whac-A-Mole arcade game in the Bay Area? Near San Francisco, on the Peninsula, or near Oakland would be ideal.

Check with the Musee Mecanique at Fisherman's Wharf.

Response by poster: Thanks, but I was at the Musee recently and didn't see one. (I did drop a lot of quarters on The Addams Family.)

You could try Chuck E. Cheese. There's one in San Bruno. I've never been to that one, but the Chuck E. Cheese I've been to in Maryland had a Whac-a-Mole.

I saw one a few years ago at the miniature golf place in Livermore. Kind of out of your range, but you might call.

Response by poster: Cowbell, that was a great idea, but I called and they don't have a Whac-A-Mole. Thanks anyway.

You could try Malibu Grand Prix in Redwood City, or Safari Run in San Mateo.

There are Whac-a-Mole machines on the Santa Cruz beach Boardwalk.

Response by poster: Toxic, thanks. I actually knew about that one (and should have mentioned it) but was hoping to find one closer.

Playland-not-at-the-beach on San Pablo in El Cerrito probably has it, and they're BART-able. Contact info here.
