How can I include updates from a Facebook "fan page" in my Wordpress blog's stream?

I know there are plugins and such to add Wordpress posts to Facebook, but I'd like to work backwards on this.

I'd like for the updates and links I post on a Facebook fan page of mine to appear in my blog, much like "asides". (actually, to replace asides).

What do you mean by "asides?" Sort of like the sidebar on Metafilter?

Depending on what theme you use, you may have an rss widget available. If not, you should be able to add such a widget to any widget-compatible theme. Fan pages on Facebook have rss feeds. I use a theme called Atahualpa, but I think rss widgets are pretty common. It may even be part of the base Wordpress functionality now.

If, instead, you mean that you'd like to have them actually slipped in between your other posts then you can install a plugin. I've used WP-O-Matic to accomplish that.

Fan pages generate RSS feeds: go to the page and click on whatever feed/subscribe button appears in your browser to get to the one you want. Then you can use a plugin like this one to auto-import items in the feed and republish them as posts in WordPress. I haven't tried this plugin myself so I can't vouch for how well it works, but it's still maintained by its author (always important!) and appears to do everything you'll need.

Hmm, I botched up that fan page RSS feed link. Looks like the "format" parameter needs to include a version number. This one should work (note that I changed "rss" in the URL to "rss20").

Just look for wordpress plug ins. I am using one on my wordpress blog. You can find them through the plugins section of your admin page.
