You could put together your own, especially if you go retro. Wear a generic uniform-type dress or a trim suit, add a pillbox type hat and a set of wings. Include a tray with bagged peanuts if you want a prop, or a bag like this.

The more recent Delta uniforms are actually quite nice, and a wrap shirt-dress like that shouldn't be too hard to find. And actually, it looks so normal that you might want to dress it up with a blue and white scarf and a set of wings. And maybe even a hat.

I think the key, if you make one yourself, is one of those secretary scarf-tie thingies. Kinda '80s.

There are uniform stores that probably sell flight uniforms. Look in your yellow pages under uniforms. I think there's one on Broadway around 15th street, but it may not still be there.

I was a retro-stewardess (this is a non-Halloween wearing of the outfit) last year. I bought the suit as separates and bought an additional skirt which I used to make a hat out of.

Like Madamina, I think the scarf is key. I really wanted to make my own airline logo patterned scarf but ran out of time so I used a very bright striped polyester. You just need a dark blue suit, white shirt, pantyhose, the scarf and a pair of wings (which you could make out of shrink plastic of precious metal clay (metallic fimo.)

Airline-angels has loads of photos of flight attendant uniforms to inspire you.
