Wireless mechanical keyboard?

I recently bought a SteelSeries 7g and I just love it. My only gripe is that it's wired... I've looked around on the net for a wireless mechanical keyboard (ie. one with clicky keys) but no luck. Does anyone know of something like this, whether bluetooth or RF-linked? Otherwise, would it be possible/feasible to mod my 7g with the components from a wireless or BT keyboard?

There aren't any. A mod is possible, but not trivial. (Hook up the controller to an arduino, hook the arduino up to a bluetooth adaptor, etc. Programming and research required.)

HP at one time made a Bluetooth keyboard adapter, part number DT532A - you'd plug your USB keyboard into it, and voila, bluetooth keyboard. There is also the IRWave IR-620k infra-red PS/2 wireless keyboard adapter, but it's a bit on the bulky side, and needs a clear line-of-sight to the reciever. Both items will be very difficult (tho not impossible) to find.

Also, it's only available in Japan, but Filco makes a bluetooth keyboard with two varieties of mechanical keyswitch, similiar to the USB models here.

FKBT104M/EB - light tactile model
FKBT104ML/EB - linear switch model

It's likewise going to be a royal pain to locate here in the US.

Here's an IBM Model M that someone converted to be wireless. Definitely an in-depth DIY project.

Serious keyboard nerds hang out at Geekhack.org. If anyone would know, they would be a member there.
