Ways to test MDMA purity?

Is there a reliable way for a layperson to test MDMA pills for purity? From other drugs, as well as (and more importantly in this case) from caffeine or other fillers?
I feel that (pure) MDMA may be of therapeutic value to me. I have several medical issues, but I feel that I am educated enough to take proper precautions with - and that my body could handle - pure MDMA. My doctor agrees. What I do *not* think it could handle, however, would be any other drug (speed, coke, meth, or heroin, most notably) or any significant amount of caffeine. I have heard of, and researched, at-home testing kits, but the information online about them, and also information about where to purchase one, seems scattered and unreliable. Does anyone know anything about these kits (effectiveness, cost, where to obtain, whether they test for *everything* or just certain drugs or just a straight up "this is pure" or "this is unpure") or any other way to test for purity? Or any statistics on how likely it is that the pill contains caffeine when touted as "pure" by the salesperson? Or how much caffeine is in them if they do contain caffeine? Or any resource for this kind of information?
