Commercial GIS data providers

Recommendations for reputable commercial GIS data providers for international data?
I'm looking for some relatively hard to find GIS data for a project that doesn't seem to be available online, and I want to see what commercial providers have; but its pretty hard to ascertain the quality of their data, and services. Alot of them seem to just re-package / compile public data for business users.
Currently I am looking for Honduras, but I think in the future we will need other countries, so comprehensiveness would be nice.

Best answer: I've had good experiences with DPRA, but that's partly because the local office used to be a GIS data supply bureau before DPRA bought them, and they could pretty much source anything from anywhere, given time and $$.

What kind of data do you need? Environmental? Infrastructure? Demographic? Something else?

Response by poster: Infrastructure (including, roads, rails, navigable waterways), Demographic: the smaller the scale the better, geocoded micro-data would be awesome...
Environmental if it includes small scale human footprints (night lights?)...
Right now we're looking at a relatively small non-major state...

Response by poster: and I said small scale but I technically meant large...
