I also made a mix called Alpha that you can listen to or download here that has a lot of that sound. It's a couple of years old, though. posted by empath at 10:26 AM on September 9, 2010 [1 favorite]
You might also like Deadmau5 or Boy 8-Bit, but they aren't quite the same genre. posted by empath at 10:35 AM on September 9, 2010

I have downloaded a ton of the music of these and similar artists from eMusic. I hope this helps you find some grooves. posted by phoebus at 2:11 PM on September 9, 2010 [1 favorite]
I'd also add Mark Knight posted by empath at 2:14 PM on September 9, 2010

Already familiar with all the artists suggested so far, many of them haven't really checked their output just a few songs. I promise to do some research on every one of them. Thank you everybody.
empath: loving that playlist. Can I bother you with a tracklist? posted by moteldemoka at 9:31 PM on September 9, 2010
Lemme listen to it again. I made it in 2006, so I barely remember :) posted by empath at 9:32 PM on September 9, 2010
I did it the hard way and looked up my beatport purchase history.
Djuma Sounsystem - Les Djinns (Trentemoller remix)
Sahar Z and Guy J - Hazui (Gui Boratto Mix)
Booka Shade - In White Rooms
Mad Arps - Slow It Down (Luke Chable remix)
Audiojack - Robot
Dave Spoon - At Night
Ndea Davenport - My Love (D Ramirez mix)
Cult 45 - True to Life (My Digital Enemy Mix)
Cicada - The Things You Say (Dirty South Remix)
Don't remember this one (this is the tip?)
Tim Deluxe vs Krafty Kuts - Bass Phenomenon
Hoxton Whores - Lost In Ibiza
On Spec - Knights of Colombos posted by empath at 10:06 PM on September 9, 2010
King Roc - The Tip (Tom Neville remix)
Okay, you've got them all.
And all available on beatport :) posted by empath at 10:08 PM on September 9, 2010
I think both Gui Boratto and MFA were signed to or at least involved with Kompakt at some point. Accordingly, I would check out Kompakt's Total series, in particular Total 3, Total 6, and Total 7. (e.g., "I Look Into Mid Air" by Rex The Dog on Total 6).
Also, try Oliver Hacke's "21:31" and the Wighnomy Bros' "Wurz & Blosse", which I think are lovely specimens of this genre. (I'm cheating a little: they're both on a Superpitcher mix called Today.) posted by en forme de poire at 5:23 PM on September 10, 2010

Other artists that sound like Gui Boratto are MANDY, Booka Shade and Trentemoller.
Go to Beatport and check the minimal charts.
