Is there a site that lets you compare the cost of office visits for doctors/pediatricians in an area? I'm in Austin, TX, FWIW.

My health insurance company has a web portal that lets you do this, so if you're insured, that might be one avenue to check out.

You can always call them up. If you're going to pay cash, say so. A surprising number of places offer a discount for cash (not actual bills, but non-insurance payments in checks, debit cards, etc.)

Best answer: This may be out of topic.

But if you are looking for an affordable walk-in clinic, there is one in the pharmacy located in the same parking lot of the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar. In fact, I think it is right next to HighBall.

I often see their banner listing $50 for an office consultation.
