How to buy a food cart in New York?

Looking to buy some food carts. Anyone have advice for who I should talk to in New York City when I'm there next month?

I'm taking a trip to New York City in a few weeks, and I'm very interested in picking up a couple of food carts. Something a little more complex than a simple hot dog cart.

Does anyone know how I can set up some meetings with the folks who sell these carts? And does anyone have any ball park price ranges that I should be looking into?

Any advice is appreciated!

You could start by calling the NYC Department of Health, because they have to license all food cart vendors.* So they might be able to give you a starting point.

Also, this.

*At least, they did back in 1983, when I was selling Italian ices from a street cart.
