Mac unzip/unrar software with preview?

Is there unZIPping/unRARing software for the Mac that allows you to see what's inside of an archive file without extraction? Seems like double-clicking on archives with any software I've used immediately extracts the files within. I'd like to be able to preview those files first, and perhaps selectively extract, or not extract at all.

Do command-line tools work?
7z l anyarchivefile.zip
unzip -l anyzipfile.zip

If you're using 10.5 or 10.6, install one of the many ZIP quicklook plugins. You can then just press space when the file's selected and view the contents

SimplyRAR does this.
