Class up my home bar please

I'm interested in making my home bar look more uniform by using the same bottles. I fell in love with the 375 mL bottles used by House Spirits for their Limited Release line (images here and here). Where can I buy similar glass bottles (and accompanying corks)? Online or b&m sources are both ok; for the record I live in the Twin Cities.

Response by poster: Thanks, jnrussell! I've visited that site; the Boston Rounds come close, but have a screw-tops. I'm looking for a bottle and cork combination.

Best answer: This looks like it. I would contact them and ask for a bulk price. I've used the store jnrussell linked to several times and their bottles are terrific. I've specifically bought the ones that make up the look you're interested in - a clear glass apothecary bottle with an aluminum cap, or a cork. The aluminum cap still gives a nice, clean elegant look. You can dip the bottle top in sealing wax to get that look. I'd also check out one of my fav websites, American Science and Surplus. Look in the container section for bottles and corks, and also the lab kits section. I've also purchased from Mountain Rose Herbs, who have great amber and clear glass bottles and my personal favorite, the cork top bottle from Spain, you can see a photo if you scroll down that link and click on 'photo'. I buy them all the time for the dead sea salts and bath powders I make, and they're just beautiful. Very elegant, heavy. Here's a frosted version of an apothecary bottle.

Also note that you need to get waterproof labels if you want to put paper in your printer and print out your own, for that custom look. I have a crapton of them, if you want a few sheets to use mefifmail your address and I'll send you a few if you plan on using an inkjet printer. The labels are glossy and thick and have an adhesive back - they can get wet a ton of times and the ink won't come off, although I can't honestly say how they're affected by alcohol dripping on them. You can also purchase a custom order of waterproof labels from several people on Etsy.

It's definitely an "apothecary" bottle, rather than a Boston Round.

Have you tried emailing House Spirits (info@housespirits.com) or going to the Facebook page dedicated to the line? They don't sound like the kind of business that treats their bottle supplier as a trade secret, and they're small enough to buy them off the shelf.

Best answer: I like this idea alot, and wanted to comment so i can keep track of it(i know i can favorite but i have something to add) you might want to look at getting some cool corks for them like these

they would be the perfect topper... I'm going to make flavored oils with them to give away as gifts.
