Cheap music CDs online store?

A while ago (a few weeks, a couple months?) I found a online music store that had just been started as some sort of experiment by a larger company. It sold CDs at close to music club prices, but without the subscription. In fact, the parent company might have been BMG or Columbia House. Now I can't find my bookmark, and I can't find it on Google. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Alternatively, can you tell me the best places to buy music CDs online?

Best answer: Could it be yourmusic.com ? It's run by BMG.

CDnow was a division of one of the clubs, Columbia House I think. They used to put out all kinds of coupons. I actually got a number of CDs from them for free after stacking coupons and such.

As far as I know it's just an Amazon storefront now. My bad.

Response by poster: yourmusic.com: that's it. I found tiny text at the bottom of the screen that says it's part of BMG, but they certainly don't link to it from BMG's web site.

thanks to all

Interesting. I've belonged to BMG for years, and for awhile they let me buy anything for $4.99 shipped. They canceled that deal last year. This looks similar, except that it's $1 more and you have to buy at least one per month -- which would be hard for me, as I find their classical selection too limited.

This is USA only, isn't it? Does anyone know of a similar concept for Europe?

BMG Music Club might also be of interest. According to this blog post, you can not only buy twelve CD's for the price of one, but you can get even better deals using coupons that are available on the Web.
