I need movies from 1999 to 2010 that feature prom scenes.

I'm looking for movies that feature a prom scene, but only from 2000 to 2010. (I've already got a huge list of prom movies from 1950 to 1999, so I don't need any from that period.) I am organizing a prom, and wanted to show a compilation montage of prom scenes. Thanks in advance!

IMDB search for "Prom". Organizing it by date does it previous-date-first, unfortunately, and I can't figure out how to do it backwards. You can narrow down by genre on the righthand column, though. Drama, Romance and Comedy have quite a few apiece.

Response by poster: Griphus - whoa, I didn't know you could do that with imdb. I thought I could only find movies with Prom in the title.

It's a keyword search, Sully. It's sort of roundabout to get into it. The easiest way I've found is to look up a movie with the keyword you want (e.g. for "prom" I used "Carrie") get into its entry, hit "see more" next to the "Plot Keywords" section (it'll have a spoiler warning over it,) and find/click on the keyword in there. That'll make sure you're using a keyword IMDB recognizes. An easier but riskier method is just sticking any word/phrase into the end of "http://www.imdb.com/keyword/" That won't guarantee you're using a widely-used or valid keyword, however.

Your title includes 1999, so I'm going to toss out "10 Things I Hate About You" - one of my favorites.

Twilight, though it pains me to say it.

It's not a movie, but Clone High has two whole episodes about Prom at the end of its first and only season.

also, it's a terrific show that everyone should watch. Of all the "brilliant-but-cancelled" shows I've seen, it's the most brilliant. And tied for the most cancelled.

She's All That from 1999, one of my favourite "let's take her glasses off and pull her hair out of a ponytail and VOILA! prom queen!" films

Not sure if it counts or not, since your title says 1999 and your question 2000, but American Pie largely centers around a prom. (But is from 1999.)

Also, while griphus' IMDB link lists Juno, I'm pretty sure that they never actually show the prom itself.

Also:
Sky High (2005)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) (the big three schools dance is kind of a prom, no?)
