I live in the UK and would like a website, preferably free, that will alert me (email, rss, twitter, whatever) when a television or radio programme is scheduled based on a keyword search.

If, as an alternative, there is someone simply streaming them as RSS feeds, I can do a lash-up using Yahoo Pipes.

I'm pretty sure you can use the Radio Times website to get email alerts. Downside is I'm not sure if it distinguishes between original showings and repeats.

Sky Nevermiss will email you when a particular show/season is scheduled to start (not just Sky shows) but you have to add the specific shows to your list, I don't think there is any keyword search

There are a few Twitter feeds for BBC stations - @onradio4now and @onbbc7 are two I follow. However, as the name suggests they tell you what programmes are playing at that moment.

I think Tioti does exactly what you're after.

LocateTV may well be the magic you're after?

Or just for TV series, seriesly.com is awesome.
