"No big secret, just looove yogurt!"

The Fourth Doctor snacks on jelly babies; Michael Westen just loooves yogurt; Martian Manhunter's love of Oreos borders on addiction. Tell me: what are some other fictional characters who are obsessed with one particular food?

Harriet M. Welsch and her tomato sandwiches!

Laverne DeFazio - milk and Pepsi (yes, in the same glass--I didn't realize until now that this was actually Penny Marshall's thing and she brought it over to the character!)

Does Monk and his Sierra Springs water count?

I'll think some more--this is fun . . .

Malkovich's Teddy KGB character in Rounders loved Oreos too. I don't know if it was an addiction or obsession, but he always had Oreos while playing poker and that played a key role in the plot.

Homer Simpson: Donuts

Jerry Seinfeld’s character on Seinfeld (a fictional Jerry) was often seen eating cereal. I don't think that would count as an obsession.

Wimpy (from the Popeye cartoons) and hamburgers.

In Juno, Michael Cera's character was obsessed with orange Tic Tacs.

In The Gilmore Girls, both Lorelai and Rory were huge coffee addicts.

In Daria, I'm pretty sure every time Daria's family had a dinner scene, they were eating lasagna.

In Heathers, Veronica's parents were big fans of pâté.

In Sonic The Hedgehoge, Sonic and Tails loved chili dogs.

In Spongebob Squarepants, Spongebob loves Krabby Patties.

Edmund of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe and Turkish Delight:

"Edmund Pevensie is the third of the Pevensie children. In Narnia he meets the White Witch, who plies him with treats (Magical Turkish Delight) and smooth talk. Tempted by the White Witch's promise of power and seemingly unending supplies of Turkish Delight, Edmund betrays his siblings, but eventually regrets his actions and repents."

Hard to say whether it's an obsession, but the witch chooses it after asking what Edmund's favorite food is (if I recall correctly, which is doubtful).

Not really an obsession as much as it is just a routine and lack of spontaneity, but Jim on the US version of the Office eats a ham and cheese sandwich every day at work. Michael once took him out to Hooters, and Jim still ordered a ham and cheese. And when he transferred to Stamford, he tried to go bold and brought a tuna sandwich, resulting in Andy's nickname for him, "Big Tuna."
