Can you predict the crazy of Courtney?

Have you been to a show on Courtney Love's (I refuse to call this Hole) current tour? How late was she?

Seeing the trainwreck tomorrow night in Toronto. It's been pretty hot here the last few days, and the last thing I want to do is spend a couple hours waiting around in a club for her to finally show. So if you've been, how long after the doors opened did she take the stage? Should I show up a few hours late, or is the wait part of the pure Love experience?

According to this story in the Washington Post, she was an hour late to her performance at the 9:30 Club last week.

I saw her last Friday in Miami at The Fillmore.

She went on around 1030 I think, maybe 1045?

I must admit, it wasn't the spectacle I was hoping for. She seemed high to me, but not Courtney Love high. Also, every few songs she would mutter (or proclaim) that she had remembered all the words, and/or not fucked up.

Also, a good cover of Take This Longing (a Leonard Cohen song).

I was glad I won the tickets, but I wanted some falling over, breaking stuff, and swearing. (that probably isn't a nice thing to admit, but hey, that's honesty for you.)

Oh, doors were at 8. I'm under the impression that the opener went on at 9 or so. We took seats around 945.

If I hadn't gotten distracted at dinner I probably would have gotten there between 830 and 9, because I have a thing about being on time. (but glad I was late. Did not enjoy the 2 songs I did hear from the opener.)

She was perfectly timely here in L.A., but she only played for 45 minutes.

She gave us about 45 min, then said, "if you want me back out here I better be able to fucking hear you all the fucking way back there." I went to the bathroom and returned in time for a 4 song encore. Maybe it was only 3 songs.

Saw Hole here in New York city.

She sang well and didn't appear 'high' at all.

But she was late for sure and it was quite a bit irritating but they made up for it by playing well.

And the concert was cut short because the guitarist's wrist was hurting. That's his livelihood so I understand that.

They didn't sing as many songs as I wanted.

But was good overall I'd say though and would probably go again.

Ottawa, tonight - right on time. Though it was an outdoor festival and Hole was opening for Joan Jett, so the clock was ticking, I guess.

Good show, but not life-changing.

I was there in Ottawa as well, and yes right on time. But I don't think they had any other choice, echoing danwalker's comment. Most people were there for Joan Jett and it would have been hell to pay if Courtney had delayed the main act.

Oh, and a note about the set - more or less exactly the same as the shows she's been performing over the last several weeks. Setlist.fm can give you an idea of what she's been pulling out on stage.
