Find me a Las Vegas nightclub so I can get my dance on!

Can you suggest fun "alternative" places to go dancing in Vegas this coming Friday, Saturday or Sunday? Looking for an unpretentious indie/electro, 80s or goth/industrial place.
The idea of Vegas nightclubs scare me a little. I don't want to go somewhere with a velvet rope, $20-30 cover and a bunch of people wearing sparkly backless shirts and stilettos. I need something a little more normal. I also really don't want to go someplace that only plays house/electronic/"the system is down"/rave or pop music. I prefer indie, 80s or goth/ebm/industrial. Somewhere on or near the Strip is best. Any suggestions?

That's where I'd be going if I were there.
I dunno, if you've never done the 'rave' thing, it might be different than what you expect, and Carlo Resoort (4 strings) is a great DJ by all accounts.
