iCal Unknown Network Error...wha?

How do I debug (and solve) this iCal error: "Cannot publish your calender. There was an unknown network error (-2). "

I'm not a Mac person so I might be missing something simple. I could publish the calender last week but I stopped being able to do that on Monday. I'm using OS 10.3 and the internet and other applications are working fine. Can anyone hope me?

What is the calendar being hosted on? .Mac or a webdav server?

If it's .Mac, can you access other features of that service?

What happens if you make a new category and try to publish that one from scratch?
